4 Weeks of baby and 1 night to ourselves ( :

Thanks to our amazing friend, Lori Charlish, who came over to watch Ella a couple hours- Jelani and I were able to have a relaxing, romantic dinner this evening. Though we were both dead tired from Ella's long, very, very long nights up- we both enjoyed our first visit at the Lauro Kitchen and had some good conversation over a candlelit dinner.
Jelani discovered the Lauro Kitchen on a drive by. And what I mean by that is we happen to drive past this restaurant quite frequently. He knew it would be a bit pricey, so he looked up the reviews on Yelp to make sure it would be worth it; who knows when we'll get out of the house again? Needless to say the reviews were awesome, just like our experience there. The staff was friendly, the ambiance calm and inviting and the food- savory.

I definitely recommend the plate I ordered: Goat Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast with Quince Sauce and Spinach, but Jelani's plate was equally as yummy and luckily I even found a picture of it on their website: Roasted Pork Loin with Spicy Plum Sauce , Garnet Yams and Braised Greens

Another PLUS: Pix pastries is just across the street, so if you are in the mood for European inspired pastries (chocolate too!) make a stop there on your way out!
